We all had our first salt water baths this morning! The water is finally warm and clear enough. Then we headed just across the channel in the dinghy to Cabbage Key where Roger and I enjoyed a cheeseburger in paradise - the legended (is that a word?) location of Jimmy Buffet's inspiration for the song. Kaylee and Ken tried other items on the menu. We also saw a sea otter come in to the dock and climb on boat after boat opening coolers and live wells looking for food, it was the funniest and cutest thing.

Back on the boat we pulled anchor and headed to Cayo Costa State Park for more swimming and some amazing shelling. Kaylee's swimming is starting to come back to her and now it's all she wants to do.

We miss you too. Thanks for leaving the comment, Kaylee loves hearing from everyone and asks if anyone has written. Yes, you would have loved the dead wood and shells, it was a really neat place. Wish we could have spent more time there. Tomorrow, we will head in to Ft. Myers Beach, probably moor in their mooring field, drop off Roger and then pick up Janet and Jeff Wednesday morning before leaving for Dry Tortugas and/or Key West.

would love to float in the ocean with you Kaylee. You shouldn't have any trouble getting sea shells. Wish we could be there

Kaylee says 'hi!'. We hear you will be visiting another version of paradise here soon :-) Enjoy the slow pace of North Florida, now that we are in South Florida we are seeing the hectic, overpopulated side. At least we always return to our own little boat each night.
