Hi Everybody

Thought I better get a new post out here since the website address is starting to get passed around by email and Kaylee's 'follow me' cards.

The big question is, "When is your cast off date?" and the answer is, we still aren't quite sure. As soon as the boat is ready. Our to-do list at the moment is:

• Thanksgiving with both Ken and Danielle's parents
• Weekend visiting with family
• Installing solar panels - the structure to hold them is built and installed, thanks George!
• Packing the house
• Moving everything not going to the boat out of the house to storage (Tuesday, Dec 1)
• And the big one, having the engine rebuilt

Once the engine is back in the boat and we are moved in we should be ready to go with the weather. Realistically we are more than a week away - at least.

We had an amazing party last weekend - a huge thank you to Lizbeth and Stacey for organizing, setting up and cleaning up. Sorry I don't have pictures! We got to see so many people that we see all the time, that we haven't seen in a while, and heard from whole bunch more who couldn't make it but sent their wishes. We pleaded for no gifts {and thank you to those who complied :-) }, but still received some very thoughtful items. Luckily nothing too big! A group gift we received were these burgees . . . beautiful . . . . and Kaylee got her very own representing the mermaid she is.

Thank you so much to everyone who came, traveled, brought a trinket (or bottle) or sent their wishes. Every one means so much.

​We will try to keep the site updated as that list gets checked off and we have a better idea of when we will get moving. We are not in a hurry and won't push getting going for equipment or weather.
